Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 October 2026
This policy explains what information Anbled collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses the Anbled app and this website.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and the name you choose. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your Google name and profile photo.
- Listening activity. What you play, like, download and follow, and your playlists and library. We use it to personalise your Home page, mixes and radio. It belongs to your account and isn't shown to other users.
- Device information. Your phone's model name, so you can see which phone is signed in, and a sign-in key. We store only a one-way fingerprint of that key, which can't be used to sign in.
- Subscription information. Your plan, trial and renewal dates, and the reference codes our payment partner gives us. To make sure each card gets one free trial, we keep a one-way fingerprint of your card, never the card number itself.
- Mobile money. If you pay by mobile money, we keep your phone number so we can send renewal requests (you can turn these off), and a one-way fingerprint of it so each number gets one free trial.
2. Information we don't collect
- Card details. Payments are entered on our payment partner's secure page, not in Anbled.
- Sound search recordings. Audio captured to identify a song is used for that search only and then deleted.
- Google passwords. We never see your password, and we only access what you approve when bringing your music over.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and personalise Anbled, manage your subscription, keep accounts secure and prevent abuse, and contact you about your account. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
4. Service providers
We share information only with trusted providers that help us run Anbled, and only as much as they need:
- Paystack processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Google, when you choose "Continue with Google".
- An email provider delivers your sign-in codes.
- A song recognition service may be used to identify a sound search.
5. Security
All information travels encrypted over HTTPS. Sign-in keys and codes are stored only as one-way fingerprints, and each account's data is kept separate from every other account.
6. Your rights and choices
- You can sign out at any time. That phone's key stops working immediately.
- You can cancel your subscription from the Account page in the app.
- You can ask to access, correct or delete your information. Contact us from the email address on your account.
7. Children
Anbled isn't intended for children under 13. Payments require the consent of the card or account holder.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll let you know in the app before they take effect.
